To get all of the work done that we would like to, Bay View Student Council has created committees. The different committees and their function are listed below.

Donate Life/Community Service
Co-Chairs: Arianna Thompson & Marin Brown
This committee is responsible for the following:

- Create, promote and carry out community service projects at least once a semester (2nd semester = NEW Donate Life Walk)
- Checks with houses to avoid duplication of efforts
- Act as liaison to community organizations
AWARDS & Competitions

- Prepare and submit annual Spirit of Excellence portfolio
- Assist Advisors in preparing any national competitions considered
- Decide and ready competition entries to state conference
Positive Peers

- Recognize students and staff through an act of appreciation every other month
- Review monthly nominations via the Representative monthly survey
- Award student/staff winners monthly

- Produce an electronic newscast for the entire school which focuses on upcoming events and celebrations
- Collaborate with other organizations and houses on videos
- Communicate with students and advisors to determine what to include
- Meet weekly to videotape
